We are currently working on a standard for Personal Networks together with Ecma International. Ecma is a non-profit industry association of technology developers, vendors and users that develops standards. Technical Report TR-102 about the technology and what the standardization needs are have recently been prepared by the editing group TC32-PNF. You can access the report for free here.
